Farrah Fawcett - did she have to die?
June 27th, 2009 -- Posted in Uncategorized | Comments OffFarrah Fawcett, like many people with cancer was pro-active about her disease. She was kind enough to even do a documentary on her process. She traveled out of the country looking for alternatives. The alternatives she chose were still unfortunately very mainstream and seeped in a ‘disease care’ model. Desecration, hair falling out, excruciating pain, cardiodepression and a devastated immune system from high doses of toxic chemicals are all deemed standard process.
But new science and medical research continually keeps proving that at the deepest level, physical disease is usually an expression of environmental toxins, psycho-spiritual pain and lifestyle choices.
A mechanistic view of the body combined with the overuse of poisonous drugs is showing to be grossly ineffective not only for last stage cancers but it is also progressively demonstrating itself to be a dysfunctional economic model. Treating symptoms has replaced genuine healing and prevention is scarcely even thought about.
Health care in the U.S. is ranked 37th in the world and yet is twice as expensive. Yet after billions of dollars going to research cancer, heart disease, diabetes, asthma rates are epidemic. We’ve been fighting the wrong war and attacking the wrong problems.
We live in a world of enormous chemical toxicity and over consumption. The human toxome project lists that birth defects, developmental delays, brain and nervous system disorders, cancer, immune and gastrointestinal problems have been linked to chemicals; bisphenol A, Chlorinated doxins & furas, lead, mercury, pesticides, perchlorate and a host of unpronounceable neuro-toxins we ingest daily.
The mistake too often made by all doctors, allopathic and alternative alike is not addressing the causes of illness. Is the patient too toxic? Are emotional issues stressing the body into a breakdown? What lifestyle choices have lowered their vitality? Is there a meaning to this person’s dis-ease? Cancer for instance cannot thrive in an oxygenated, alkaline, high temperature environment. Is there a way to bring about those conditions naturally?
No one knows the timing of the sacred journey from this world to another. But by looking outside the crumbling box of conventional medicine, many have been able to extend their healing process in more sane and honoring ways.
